Piishii Observatory Webcam

The Piishii Observatory Webcam (or PiishiiCam) provides a live view of the KAS Remote Telescope, located at Arizona Sky Village. The video will appear monochrome when the telescope is in use at night or whenever the roof is on. You will be able to see the telescope in color if the roof is off during the day. PiishiiCam will be offline during the summer monsoon season (July - September).

BROWSER NOTES

The PiishiiCam loads without trouble in Firefox, but tends to freeze after a few seconds. We recommend using Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome to view the telescope in real-time. However, you must give permission for the PiishiiCam to run in either of these browsers.

In both Edge and Chrome, click on the 3 dots in the upper righthand corner and select "Settings." In Edge, select "Cookies and site permissions" and scroll down to the "Media autoplay" section and select "Insecure content." Click the "Add" button and enter "www.kasonline.org." For Chrome, under "Privacy and security," select "Site setting." Scroll down to "Additional content setting" and add "www.kasonline.org" to the list.
